Long time no see, Project0401! While it’s been some time since our last article, we’ve been plenty busy behind the scenes! More specifically, we have another interview, this time with producer MonochroMenace!
MonochroMenace is a recently up-and-coming English vocal synth producer who has been making music since 2020. If you’re a fan of Kasane Teto or the scene in general, then you likely already know the name! Known primarily for REGRET ROCK and MINIMUM RAGE, we talk about her origins and inspirations as a producer, hear about new projects in the works, and answer burning community questions, like what her opinions on macaroni and cheese are.

While sharing this interview is the primary intention of this article, I’d also like to take a moment to discuss plans for the future regarding Project0401. In my time away, I’ve missed reporting on a lot of stories – a few of them I plan to catch up on soon – and I want to make it clear that making articles will always be a priority!
Between working on the two interviews published so far and a lot of rapid changes to my personal life, time to dedicate to the website has been stretched thin. As a result, some aspects of the website, such as community features, have been neglected. Again, I’d like to assure you that I still plan on continuing featuring art and music from the community, as well as making news recap videos for those that prefer listening to reading!
Interviews will also continue to be a main feature! While they may follow a schedule due to the organization required for them, you can expect to see more! Working on them has been incredibly fun, and I want to find more ways to directly involve the community in the process!
That said, it may still take time for me to find a rhythm that works for me and that I’m able to keep consistent, so I hope you can offer me patience in the meantime. This website means a lot to me, and I want to make it the best that it can be!
