Following our last article catching up on stories we had missed during our momentary leave, this new article should finally get us up-to-date on all the need to know happenings with Kasane Teto going into April of this year. With Kasane Teto’s birthday tomorrow at the time of writing this, there are no doubt big announcements on the horizon, so there’s not a better time to catch-up than now! You can expect another article soon covering all that was announced during our chimera queen’s 18th anniversary.
First, we have a small update regarding the release of a series of rubber charms. Fukuya Capsule previously announced that these charms, featuring various designs of Kasane Teto and a rare inclusion of Kasane Ted, would be released to stores nationwide in Japan at a later date.
That date would end up being early March of this year, with the charms now available at a variety of capsule machines. TWINDRILL posted an image to their Twitter account showcasing the charms and one of the capsule machines they would be available in. Naturally, those overseas will have to rely on a proxy service to have these charms shipped to them.
Our next story is regarding merch for a specific song. On February 5th, 2026, Japanese book and hobbyist store VILLAGE/VANGUARD announced that it would be selling a line of merchandise for the popular single Override, by Yoshida Yasei. The line includes acrylic stands, key-chains, pins, and more, and are available to order at VILLAGE/VANGUARD’s online store.
VILLAGE/VANGUARD is partnered with proxy service Buyee, with integration built directly into VILLAGE/VANGUARD’s website, so overseas fans looking to order the items in question should have an easy time! A link to VILLAGE/VANGUARD’s online store can be found here:
Coincidentally, our next story is also about Override, being a collaboration between Kasane Teto and McDonald’s Japan. McDonald’s Japan has previously collaborated with Kasane Teto and producers in the scene, such as their usage of Tetoris last year. This collaboration was very similar, as on February 22nd, 2026, the McDonald’s Japan Twitter account would post a collection of videos, being custom mixes and edits of Override to promote the collaboration, with unique menu items being offered for a limited time.

Continuing the theme of collaborations, Project VOLTAGE, which was previously covered in a past article, has since posted more art and hosted a live stage performance featuring Kasane Teto. For those needing a refresher, Project VOLTAGE is a crossover project between the Pokémon Company and Hatsune Miku/VOCALOID. Last year, Kasane Teto was brought in to be featured in the project, with a custom design and a new song by 32ki, Facade Question.
On March 1st, 2026, the Project VOLTAGE Twitter account posted new art for the collaboration by artist Haる (@Haru57928031), featuring Kasane Teto alongside Hatsune Miku and a Farfetch’d. A short teaser for an upcoming live stage performance, “VOLTAGE Live!”, was shared on that same day.
This performance would be held on March 22nd at the LaLa Arena TOKYO-BAY venue, both for a live audience and on stream, featuring vocal synths Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Kasane Teto, and more on stage. Those looking to watch the stream can find it on the ABEMA Live website until April 5th, 2026, though you will need to pay for access to the footage. Thankfully, for those specifically interested in Kasane Teto’s, the set featuring her has since been uploaded for free to the official Hatsune Miku YouTube account.

Our last story is about none other than Kasane Teto’s birthday and anniversay! Tomorrow, we celebrate 18 years of Kasane Teto, and there will be no doubt lots of collaborations and stories to follow! TWINDRILL has already announced that a live stream on NicoVideo for Kasane Teto’s birthday, going over upcoming news and collaborations, will be hosted on April 4th, 2026.
