As we get closer to closing out the year, the news cycle has seen some slow down from the busier weeks of earlier months. This post hopes to compile smaller announcements together from the past two weeks: it will mainly focus on merchandise, though we do have more information about the upcoming live show TETO SONIC 2026 and the Best Days of Kasane Teto 2026 album!
Starting out, we have a new set of miniature plushes from Taito, featuring the UTAU, Synth V, and VOICEPEAK designs of Kasane Teto. Apart of Taito’s new てちぬい (Techinui) brand, these plushes will be released in May of 2026, with more information about their specifics to come at a later date. I can remember not too long ago when plushes of Kasane Teto were a sparse commodity, and now it seems like we’re spoiled for choice!
…If you’re an Eastern fan, that is – those of us in the West will likely have to rely on proxy services to purchase most of these new releases.
Next, we have merchandise for a specific song, that being “SUPER TETO” by nbaji. Produced by Dwango, you can now buy a large pillowcase of Kasane Teto’s beautiful face to call your very own. And they say dreams don’t come true. They’re on sale until January 25th, 2026, for a price of ¥2,860 ($18.44) and measuring 45cm x 33cm (17in x 13in). The listing can be found at this link.
However, the product doesn’t ship globally, so those overseas will once again need to rely on a proxy service.
To continue this exclusivity trend, we have a whole smorgasbord of merchandise available at a pop-up shop starting December 19th and ending January 14th, 2026. At the KIDDY LAND character goods shop location in Umeda, Osaka, there will be plushes, standees, shirts, bags, key-chains, and more! Once more, those overseas will have to rely on proxy services and second-hand sellers.
Rounding out our merchandise line-up, we have the Kasane Teto sake cup set, from Kuguiya. This was initially announced on the Teto Day 2025 livestream from October this year, and is now for sale on the Kuguiya website. Sake is an alcoholic beverage, so those of age can now (responsibly) join in on our chimera’s unfortunate fondness for drinking.
Available for ¥10,180 ($65.65), or sold as a set of two for a discounted ¥18,546 ($119.60), this cup styled as one of Kasane Teto’s drills is available for global shipping! Finally, we have new information regarding the upcoming TETO SONIC 2026 live show and the Best Days of Kasane Teto 2026 album! Though this information doesn’t come directly from TWINDRILL, it is still an official source of information.
A poster promoting the TETO SONIC event was found, giving us new information about the songs that will be played at the event. Those being Mesmerizer, Doomer, Igaku, Liar Dancer, Chilly, Tetoris, Override, Machine Love, andPPPP. The poster claims that 15 songs in total will feature at the event, including new originals that have yet to be seen.
It’s very likely that a good amount if not all of the listed songs will feature on the Best Days of Kasane Teto 2026. We also get a look at what will most likely be the logo for the album on this same poster.
