“Teto Teto ni Shite Ageru♪” (てとてとにしてあげる♪)

What better song to feature for the first week of Project0401’s existance than the first song of Kasane Teto’s? Teto Teto ni Shite Ageru (or “I’ll Make You Teto Teto-ed”) was published on April 1st, 2008, presented as an early showcase of a supposed new VOCALOID, Kasane Teto. This, of course, all being part of an elaborate April Fools joke by vip@2ch to trick the vocal synth community into thinking this “Kasane Teto” was to be the fourth addition to Cypton’s Character Vocal Series. It’s a parody of the Hatsune Miku song “Miku Miku ni Shite Ageru”, and doesn’t actually utilize a vocal synth, as Kasane Teto didn’t have a voicebank yet. Instead, vocals provided by Oyamano Mayo were edited to sound more synthetic. 17 years later, Kasane Teto still uses the same voice provider!
